Fans of Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) soccer games should be disappointed. Because, Sony pulled the name Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2019 from the list of game titles that are free for PlayStation 4 users (PS4).
The name PES 2019 which was originally listed in the list of PS Plus games was replaced by a game called "Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition". In an official statement, Sony also apologized to the users for the decision.
"We made changes to the PS Plus game line for July. This month, we added the Detroit game: Become Human, Digital Deluxe Edition which also included Heavy Rain rather than PES 2019," said Sony.
"We apologize for the inconvenience," they continued.
This is certainly a mysterious decision taken by Sony. Because beforehand Sony had never done anything similar.
This is the first time that Sony has suddenly changed the ranks of the game titles it provides free to users.
This program is usually done by Sony every month. The company provides benefits for PS Plus service customers (PS3, PS4 and PS Vita owners) where they can download several games for free.
At the end of last June, Sony released two game names that can be downloaded for free by users of PS Plus services, which included the name PES 2019.
The PES 2019 game itself if purchased through the PlayStation Store, the price reaches IDR 353,000. While if you buy games physically, the price can be more expensive.
The game with this sport genre is actually a competitor of the FIFA 2019 game. It's just that PES 2019 is not fully licensed to use the names of the teams in the game.
While FIFA, has a complete license so that the game has a choice of players, more diverse leagues and clubs.
In addition to PES 2019, PlayStation Plus customers can also download another game called Horizon Chase Turbo, a 90s car racing game but enriched with modern graphics.

Previously, Sony set the Borderlands game: The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania as a free game in June.
